The Intensive English Course (IEC) or the Intensive English Program (IEP) is the ladder of communication success. While both tracks (15 hour/week and 18 hour/week) have inherent excellence, the IEP has the advantage of three hours of opportunity to further enhance your language proficiency. Whether you enroll in the course or program, there are seven levels of study to help you achieve your language goals. Intensive English Program (IEP)


18 Hours per Week/Eight-Week Sessions

Intensive English Course (15 hours per week) plus Scholar's Course (3 hours per week)


The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a par excellence program for non-native speakers interested in improving their English skills. In addition to the 15-hour Intensive English Course, students attend specialized three-hour Scholar’s Courses. Upon completing all seven levels, which include intensive instruction and practice in grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, listening, speaking and pronunciation, students will gain the necessary skills and confidence needed for success in all facets of life. 

Intesive English Course (15 hours per week)

Offering seven levels of intensive instruction in grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, listening and speaking, this exemplary course provides students with the communication skills and confidence needed to help them reach their personal, academic and professional goals.

Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 9:00 - 11:50 am or 6:00 - 8:50 pm

Scholar's Course (3 hours per week)

From levels 1-7, these instructor-led courses focus on further developing oral and aural communication skills. They are an intergral component of the intensive courses. The early levels provide the foundation for improving pronunciation; and the rest concentrate on building academic listening and speaking skills.

Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 12:00 - 12:35 pm or 5:15 - 5:50 pm

Note: If taken separately, the price for the Intensive English Course is $1,242; Scholar's Courses, $506.
